Let's talk more about carbs. They are not all the same.
One type of carb can have 100 calories, but in your hand
it can weigh exactly the same as another carb that has
1000 calories. Make sure you get that. The same weight
in your hand of two different foods can have drastically
different caloric contents. And to win the "math game" of

Any food that has carbs in it has a glycemic index. In
simple terms, the glycemic index relates to how FAST
or how SLOW a carb gets converted to sugar in your
body and gets sent off for use as energy. Foods that
are high on the glycemic index enter FAST and the
sugar is ready to be used right away. That is a big
problem because if you do not use those energy units
soon, your body will store some of those units as
fat on your body and cause you to be oveweight. So
then, foods that are LOW on the glycemic index enter
slowly and the sugar is SLOWLY sent off for use at
a steady, slow pace. Your body has a chance to USE
THE UNITS instead of store them as fat. That is what
